Miss Delight is a hostile teacher character in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, Deep Sleep, a horror game chapter released in 2024 where players explore an abandoned toy factory school. Her jumpscare scream is one of the chapter's most replayed moments, and short clips of it spread through gameplay videos, edits and soundboards as fans recreated its sudden shock. Because it is so brief, creators keep reusing it as a ready-made scare for horror shorts, reaction clips and meme edits, where a familiar game sound instantly signals danger without needing any context from the full game.
About this sound
A short, sharp jumpscare scream from Miss Delight in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 Deep Sleep, used in horror edits and reaction videos to shock viewers.
This is a split-second jumpscare burst from Poppy Playtime, a sudden high-pitched shriek layered with a harsh metallic impact that hits without warning and cuts off almost instantly. At under a second long, it is built for shock rather than atmosphere, jolting the listener with a loud, distorted scream that feels close and frantic. In a video it lands like a jump cut made audible, freezing the viewer for a beat before the tension breaks into laughter or a startled reaction. Its brevity makes it easy to drop at the exact moment a face, monster or twist appears on screen.
