At 432 milliseconds, this clip is already tight enough for most reaction edits and rarely needs trimming. Download the MP3 to keep it available offline, load it into a soundboard, or assign it as a ringtone or notification tone if your device supports custom audio. Its low, wet impact can become muddy beneath music or bass-heavy speech, so test the level before publishing. For a longer gag, place it after a cartoon slip or follow it with a wrong answer game show sting rather than stacking both sounds together.
About this sound
Play the Prout Gras button, download the MP3, or save it as a ringtone. Its quick, wet, low-pitched fart lands perfectly on fails and awkward pauses.
This clip is a very short fart sound with a thick, wet, low-pitched tone, which is why it is often called a "prout gras" in French. It lands fast and leaves almost no buildup, making it perfect for sudden punchlines. The sound gives a scene an instantly silly, childish feel and usually turns an awkward pause, failed move, or over-serious moment into a joke. Because it is so brief, creators often use it as a sharp reaction button rather than as background audio.
